AIM of Abacus Association:
To prorogate and provide most effective Abacus education to worldwide. The organization is dedicated to promote and encourage quality teaching methods and motivate effective learning of abacus mental arithmetic.
Also, to gather all the learners, educators and institutions, organizations of Abacus Education around the world to provide opportunity to take part international events, create friendship; provide support and guide, exchange culture and knowledge.
Roles & Responsibilities of Abacus Association:
Seminars:
The popularity and appreciation for learning abacus has grown exponentially over the years, as evidenced by pupils consisting of children of many ethnicity and ages. Abacus is regarded as a form of education which helps children tap into the unexplored treasures of the brain. It can help children improve mathematical and logical thinking abilities, and enable them to attain skills such as reasoning, conceptualization, observation, memorization, and concentration, to name a few.
For these reasons, Abacus Association supports a network of abacus teachers by providing resources and training seminars. Every few years, Abacus Association conducts a teachers' training course to educate aspiring instructors about how to teach abacus. Our teachers' training seminar prepares young and seasoned abacus teachers, and aspiring abacus instructors who share an interest to serve at Abacus schools.
Once in a year seminar will be conducted at the place of member's country as per the direction of member council. Only the member countries, existing Individual members, Institutional members and the countries applied for membership are eligible to attend the seminar.
Grading Exams:
Twice a year Grading Examinations shall be conducted to upgrade the level of students, standardize and improve the qualitative educational skills on Abacus Education.
Members only can Login to get the rules and regulations of Grading Examinations and Sample question papers of Grading Examinations to prepare themselves or to prepare their students to complete the exam successfully.
Competitions:
Competitions will be conducted every year at member's country as decided by the member council. Only the member countries, existing Individual members and Institutional members are eligible to attend the competition. Members only can Login to get the rules and regulations of Competition and Sample Question Papers of Competition to prepare themselves or to prepare their students for competing in the competition successfully.
Service:
Abacus Association offering free training and education on Abacus Education to the government organizations and primary educational institutes, which shall be requested by the ministry of education of the respective country.
MEMBERSHIP:
Applications are inviting from around the world who are all teaching, training, adopting and following Abacus Education in their country. Any abacus and mental arithmetic organization can apply the membership of Abacus Association should submit application form.
Individual members can apply for online examinations. Institutional members and member countries shall follow the procedure of Grading Examination.
Importance of Abacus Association:
Abacus education has a proven record internationally to stimulate the mathematical urge in the children and well taught kid will enjoy practicing mathematics with ease. Improper and unscientific teaching of Abacus can lead to negative results in the exposure, attitude and development of children and students/children at no point can learn the real effect abacus education.
Abacus Association has taken the initiative to guide and absorb the children who are dropped out because of the closing down of such unrecognized and unnamed Institutes. The educational Institutes, Schools who had encouraged such unrecognized and unnamed Institutes are also welcome to use this opportunity to reorganize so as to provide high quality, internationally recognized system of abacus teaching, since the same will glitter the students mathematical ability and exposure.
Abacus Association has the internationally recognized and authorized syllabus and infrastructure facilities and support to provide assistance to the educational Institutions and Schools to cater their abacus education related requirements.
Abacus Association to protect the abacus education in India from falling into the wrong hands has also taken the initiative to bring all such unrecognized and unauthorized Institutions in one roof to provide necessary knowledge and education to run the Institution, to impart real teaching methods, qualify them to the international standard and getting them approved as a registered and recognized Institution in India.
